Will my NEW CAR WARRANTY still be valid if I come to you?

Absolutely! Mr Shiny Mechanical is trained and authorised to carry out the Manufacturer’s statutory Logbook schedule for every vehicle make and model. We will stamp and sign your Logbook and use parts that meet or surpass the manufacturer’s standards. Please check with us about European cars, as some models require specialised equipment.


Can I get a quote, and does it include parts and labour?

Absolutely! If we are servicing your vehicle and discover that it needs further work done, we will call you and explain the problem and give an estimated quote on fixing the issue.

We will advise of all known and expected costs, but as you can appreciate, there are times when we begin dismantling and find other worn, faulty or suspect components that could compromise your vehicle’s reliability and safety. At this time we will contact you with our recommendation and to obtain your authorisation to proceed. We ask that you keep your telephone handy while your vehicle remains in our workshop.


Do you have an early bird key drop off?

Yes, the lovely staff at the PUMA service station will accept your keys if you arrive prior to our opening time at 8am. If you are unable to pick up your vehicle by 5pm, please contact us to make arrangements in advance.


Are you open on the weekend?

No, our trading hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. We kindly ask that you collect your car by 5pm (where possible) so that we can all go home to our families.


Do you do payment plans? Unfortunately we are unable to offer any payment plans and require full payment on the pick-up of your vehicle. We have credit card and EFT facilities for your convenience.


Can I talk to a Mechanic? Absolutely! Our team of mechanics are available if you require any information on your vehicle. We will call you immediately if we find any extra work that needs to be done and explain what is happening and an approximate cost.


Can I get my car back the same day? We like to have all vehicles back to our clients on the same day. If this is not possible, we will advise you in advance.


Where are you? We are located at the new PUMA Service Station at 166 Bedford road in Andergrove (100 metres back from Pioneer High School).


Do you have the equipment to do the job? Absolutely, Mr Shiny has the very latest in diagnostic equipment to carry out engine check-light diagnostics on your vehicle. We also undergo monthly training through Automate to ensure we are up to date on the latest diagnostic advancements. And to top it off, we subscribe to Autodata, which is Australia’s most comprehensive technical 24/7 telephone and online support giving us leading edge information, advice, news and bulletins from 59 manufacturers covering thousands of models.
